Publication Ethics

JII: Information Scientific Journal and published by the Faculty of Science and Technology of Ibrahimy University, this journal follows COPE. The Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Editors of the Journal and Code of Conduct for Journal Publishers.

JII: The Scientific Information Journal is committed to upholding the ethical standards of publication and taking all possible actions against publication malpractice. Authors who submit papers to register prove that their work is genuine and unpublished, and is not being considered for publication elsewhere. In addition, the authors confirm that their paper is their own, that it has not been copied or copied, in whole or in part, from other works, and that they have revealed actual or potential conflicts of interest with their work or partial benefits associated with them.

EDITOR TASK
Decision about Article Publication

Editor at JII: The Scientific Information Journal is responsible for deciding which articles are submitted to journals that must be published. Editorial leaders can be guided by the editorial board's journal policies and are subject to legal requirements such as defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism. Editor-in-Chief can negotiate with editors or other reviewers in making this decision.

Script Reviews

The Editor in Chief must ensure that each text is initially evaluated by an editor / co-editor, who can use appropriate software to check the authenticity of the contents of the text and after passing this test, the text is forwarded to two referees for blind peer review, and each will make recommendations to publish the text in its current form or to modify or reject the same. The review period will be from two weeks to one month (a maximum of two months in extraordinary circumstances).

Disclosure and conflict of interest

Unpublished material disclosed in the submitted text may not be used by anyone who has a view of the text in his own research without the written consent of the author.

Fair game

Manuscripts must be evaluated solely on the basis of their intellectual abilities without considering the author's race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, citizenship or political philosophy.

Confidentiality

Editor-in-Chiefs / editors and any editorial staff may not disclose any information about the manuscript sent to anyone other than the author, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisors, and publishers.

TASK REVIEWER
Speed

In case, each reviewer feels that it is impossible for him to complete a review of the script within the time specified, the same thing must be communicated to the editor, so that the same thing can be sent to other reviewers.

Confidentiality

Information about the manuscript submitted by the author must be kept confidential and treated as special information.

Standard of Objectivity

The review must be carried out objectively. There will be no personal criticism from the author. Reviewers must express their views clearly with supporting arguments.

Source Recognition

The reviewer must identify the relevant published work that has not been quoted by the author. Any statements previously reported elsewhere must be accompanied by relevant citations. The reviewer must also ask the Editor in the Head's attention for any substantial similarities or overlaps between the manuscripts considered and any other published papers for which they have personal knowledge.

Conflict of interest

The reviewer may not review the manuscript that has a conflict of interest as a result of competition, collaboration, or other relationships or connections with the author, company or institution connected with the paper.

AUTHOR'S TASK
Reporting standards

Authors of the original research report must present an accurate report of the work performed and objective discussion of its significance. The underlying data must be accurately represented in the paper. A paper must contain sufficient details and references to enable others to replicate the work. False or intentionally inaccurate statements are unethical and unacceptable behavior.

Data Access and Retention

The author can be asked to provide raw data in connection with the paper for editorial review, and must be prepared to provide public access to it, if possible, and in any case must be prepared to store the data for a reasonable time after publication.

Originality and Plagiarism

The author must ensure that they have fully written the original work, and if the author has used the work and / or words of others, it must be quoted or quoted appropriately.

Various Publications

A writer may not generally publish manuscripts which basically describe the same research in more than one journal or main publication. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously is an unethical and unacceptable publishing behavior.

Source Recognition

Correct recognition of the work of others must always be given. The author must quote publications that have an influence in determining the nature of the work reported.

Paper Wreath

Writing must be limited to those who have contributed significantly to the conception, design, implementation, or interpretation of the research reported. All who have made significant contributions must be registered as co-authors. Where there are other people who have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research project, they must be recognized or registered as contributors.

Disclosure and Conflict of Interest

All authors must disclose in their manuscripts any other financial or substantive conflicts of interest that might be interpreted to influence the results or interpretations of their manuscripts. All sources of financial support for the project must be disclosed.

Fundamental Errors in Works Published

When a writer finds significant errors or inaccuracies in his self-published work, it is the duty of the author to notify the journal editor or publisher immediately and work with the editor to retract or repair the paper.

JII: The Scientific Journal of Informatics does not permit all forms of plagiarism. Plagiarism is considered a serious violation of scientific ethics by the entire scientific community. Plagiarism incidents in published texts or papers whether detected or reported, will be dealt with seriously.
